Your Coverage Options

Your coverage option determines how much of your pay will be replaced. You can choose:

  • 50% pay replacement—maximum benefit is capped at $100,000 per year (fully paid by Company contributions);
  • 60% pay replacement—maximum benefit is capped at $120,000 per year; or
  • 70% pay replacement—maximum benefit is capped at $140,000 per year.

Regardless of the option you choose, the Company pays for 50% pay replacement. You pay the difference between 50% and 60% or 70% if you elect a higher pay replacement option. Before choosing coverage, consider the cost of each option.
