The Cash Balance Pension Plan

The Company offers the Cash Balance Pension Plan to help you reach your financial goals for the future. The plan is designed to supplement Social Security, your savings in the Thrift Plan, and any other personal savings.

You automatically become a participant in the Cash Balance Pension Plan on the day your begin working for the Company. The Company makes contributions to the plan on your behalf based on points equal to your age plus years of service. You make no contributions. You are 100% vested in your plan balance once you complete five years of service with the Company.
